To discretely integrate a large-scale loft development into Greenwich Village's streetscape, this new corner building features two distinct facade motifs that emulate traditional masonry details found throughout the historic district. The light gray facade with frontage on both MacDougal and West 8th makes use of brick and cast stone to frame each of its windows, incorporating an alternating recessed pattern at the piers. The adjacent red brick facade utilizes a bullnose brick at the windowsills, head, and piers that frame an English bond brick course. MA's scope also included restoration work to the historic facade next door.
