War & Peace
This exhibition unites sculpture, photography, and painting to tell stories of love, conflict, and joy, as interpreted by three Italian artists: Gianlorenzo Gasperini, Fausto Rossi, and Vera Rossi. Gasperini’s figurative bronze and plaster sculptures exist between the past and present with their bold stances and withered appearance. Fausto Rossi’s drawings of armies at war and on parade represent dramatic battles with a detached, formal language. Vera Rossi’s photographs of objects seen against and through old iron windows are personal memories captured as a record of time’s passing.
