Lydia Ricci

For more than 25 years, Lydia Ricci has been collecting scraps from junk drawers, supply closets, and the occasional trash can. She transforms the ephemera of existence into tiny tributes to time past. The collage-like sculptures of everyday objects made from paper, glue, broken staples, and the back-side of almost anything aren’t precious or precise miniatures, but rather messy and imperfect approximations that feel true—just like memories.
