Major uptown development Brooklyn & Church preps for groundbreaking | Charlotte Business Journal

MA is excited to announce our involvement in a new project in Charlotte, North Carolina, that will transform a block of Uptown into a lively retail destination and an apartment tower overlooking the Bank of America Stadium.

The $250 million Brooklyn & Church development will be the first of its kind in Uptown, converting a 70s-era Duke Energy office tower to residential use and removing a portion of the existing structure to make way for a low-rise marquee retail building, as well as an activated plaza and park.

Designed by MA, the marquee retail building will feature commercial spaces on the first floor, F&B space on the second floor, and a full restaurant patio on the third level. MA also collaborated on the recladding concept for the residential tower.
